Installing WebDev 12 on Ubuntu 8.0.4

Ubuntu 8.0.4 is the most recent Ubuntu distribution. We’ll see here that it’s not that easy to install WebDev on such a system. Installing WebDev for Linux is like reading the Da Vinci code. You have to decode cryptic messages, discover untold stories, find hidden log files and use a magic language.
Coding in english with the french version

It is quite possible and easy to program in english using the french version of WinDev. It means that you can use the new version as soon as it is available for the french people.
A calendar control for WebDev

WebDev is really missing a good calendar control. It’s unfortunate because there are so much good javascript calendars available out there. The best one, in my opinion, is the jQuery datapicker. It’s quite easy to use it in a WebDev page.
